I am a bit of a hoarder, especially with clothes, so this is a great opportunity for me to do some spring cleaning.

This Saturday, May 2, Uber is teaming up with Goodwill to make donating clothes more convenient.  Using your Uber app, you can request an Uber driver come to your house, pickup bags of clothing and deliver them to a local donation center-at no cost to you.

There are 50 participating cities in U.S., including major cities such as NYC, Chicago, LA, Miami and San Francisco.   Uber is also partnering with local charities to collect donations in 10 international cities, including Amsterdam, Doha, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Stockholm.

Here is more information from Uber.  For anyone has not yet signed up for Uber and would like to, we would be grateful if you use our referral link.  If you sign up using our link, you receive a free ride from Uber up to $20 and we will receive a $20 credit as well.

If you live in one of these cities and have clothes you want to donate, this is a good time saver.
