Rakuten Sign Up Bonus
If you are not yet a Rakuten member you can get an easy $30 sign up bonus reward when you sign up using a referral link and make minimum qualifying purchases totaling at least thirty dollars ($30) within ninety (90) days of becoming a member.

How Does Rakuten Work?
Rakuten (formerly Ebates) gives you the opportunity to earn cash just for online shopping at over 2,500 stores.
On the Rakuten website or in the Rakuten App, click the store where you want to shop, place an order and Rakuten will automatically add Cash Back to your account.
There is also an option to add the Cash Back Button as an extension to your browser, and it will automatically notify you of Cash Back and discounts when you visit your favorite stores.
(Rakuten also offers In-Store Cash Back, where you can earn Cash Back by shopping in person at select stores, just like you do online. This requires more work because you have to link the offer to your card and you have to relink the store offers again after you shop.)
Cashback payouts are quarterly. You will be mailed a check at your address or you can change your settings to get paid by PayPal or earn Amex Membership Rewards® points.
Increased Rakuten Referral Bonus
For those of you that are already members, Rakuten has a Refer-A-Friend program that offers rewards to members for getting new people to sign up and make a minimum purchase. The purchase requirement and reward amount can vary and right now the referral bonus is higher than usual.
Until May 11, 2020, you can earn $30 for referring new members. If someone you refer signs up for Rakuten and makes a qualifying purchase, you can both earn a reward. This is higher than the previous $25 referral bonus.
All you have to do is sign into your Rakuten account and copy your referral code. You will also be given the option to share your code by email or by facebook or twitter.

Subject to the Referral Program Terms, Rakuten will pay you a $30 Referral Bonus through your Rakuten account for each Qualified Referral during the period beginning on April 20, 2020 and ending on May 11, 2020 (“Offer Period”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Referral Program Terms, this offer is valid only if the referral signs up and completes their qualifying purchase within 90 days.
