I’ve written about the Plastiq referral program before which can earn you and those you refer no-fee credit card payments. Plastiq is currently offering a limited time promotion giving double the referral bonus both to those who make referrals and those who sign up with a referral link.
Normally, for every person who signs up to Plastiq using your referral link and makes a payment of at least $20, you earn $400 dollars of fee-free bill payments and that person will get $200 dollars of fee-free bill payments. (Update: Plastiq has raised the referral bonus to $1000/$500.)
For a limited time, if you refer friends to Plastiq you will both earn double the fee-free dollars. For every Plastiq referral you make by April 18, 2017, you will earn 800 fee-free dollars and the person you referred will earn 400 fee-free dollars. In order to earn the sign up bonus, the person you refer must make their first payment of at least $20 between March 14, 2017 and April 18, 2017, 11:59 p.m. EDT.
For anyone not familiar with Plastiq, this website allows you to pay your mortgage, rent and other bills online with a credit card or debit card. The fee is usually 2.00% for MasterCard and 2.50% for Amex and Visa cards.
