After my visit to the Escape Lounge at MSP, I decided to stop by the Delta Sky Club in Concourse C since it was located close to my gate. This Delta Sky Club is open from 6am-10pm and is conveniently located in Concourse C almost across the airport tram stop.
As soon as you enter the Delta lounge, there is a check-in desk to your left and a customer service desk straight ahead.
Although I usually prefer a modern aesthetic, I liked the old school look of the lounge. It was still dark when I arrived in the morning, but after the sun came up, I noticed this lounge has great views of the gates and the runway and I could see airplanes taking off.
I immediately liked this Delta Sky Club better than the other Delta Sky Club in MSP. Instead of being a huge open space, this lounge has various sections so it feels more private.
There is even a work area with cubicles for those looking for privacy or a quiet place to work.
Other amenities at the lounge include a dressing room (sign says you need to ask for access), a small business room with a printer/fax machine as well as magazines and newspapers.
The beverage station with coffee and most of the food can be found in the main room towards the front of the lounge.
Breakfast was pretty basic: cereal, fruit salad, eggs, and oatmeal.
The self-service bar is located in a dark room at the very back of the lounge.
Across the bar, there is a station with more drinks as well as juices and bagels.
When comparing the two Delta Sky Clubs in MSP, this lounge in Concourse C is hands down the clear winner for me. The cubicles and the various sections and rooms make this lounge feel more private than the other Delta Sky Club in Concourse F/G. Other positives include the self-service bar and the great views. This lounge opens later in the morning than the other Delta Sky Club but if you have access to the Escape Lounge, I would head there instead if you find yourself at the airport before 6 am.
