Jack’s Pumpkin Patch Pop-Up


Jack’s Pumpkin Patch Pop-Up is a pop-up pumpkin patch. This outdoor fall experience located on over 2 acres in Goose Island has the largest corn maze in downtown Chicago, hidden boozy bar, axe throwing, carnival games, music, fortune telling, three full-service bars and several picture back drops to take instagrammable fall photos. Pre-purchased access is required.

Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest

Lincoln Park Zoo will have a small pumpkin patch during its annual Fall Fest. In addition to a pumpkin patch, this family-friendly celebration will have other fall activities including a pumpkin walk, live pumpkin carvers, a festive pop-up bar, animal chats, musical entertainment and more!

Dates:  Fall Fest 2022 is on Fridays–Sundays from September 29–October 29, 2023 (and Monday October 9, 2023).

JoJo’s Pumpkin Patch

Halloween in the Parks

Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm is one of the Midwest’s most popular pumpkin patches and Fall festival. The farm also offers fresh apple cider donuts, award-winning barbecue, kiddie rides, hayrides, petting zoo, pig races, and more. More than 13 rides and many more attractions are included with the price of admission. The farm is “stroller friendly” so you can bring your strollers or wagons; it is mostly paved, but there are some gravel paths. Odyssey Fun Farm is built on a 110 acre real farm. Johansen Farms & Children’s Zoo

Johansen Farms & Children’s Zoo has a huge pumpkin patch with over 25,000 pumpkins. There is also a petting zoo with over 500 farm animals, corn maze, miniature golf and tons of fun kid-friendly attractions including pony rides, hayrides, train rides and airslides. At Abbey Farms has a 40-acre pumpkin farm. Kroll’s Fall Harvest Farm

In addition to a pumpkin patch, Kroll’s Fall Harvest Farm has a corn maze, a hayride, and a petting zoo.

County Line Orchard

County Line Orchard has a pumpkin patch with a famous pumpkin house in the middle for a great photo op. If you are not interested in searching for pumpkins, there are also pumpkins to choose from at the Big Barn.  Other fun activities include apple picking, corn mazes, bee yurts, a MooChoo ride, and kids farm with animals. Patch 22

Patch 22 has thousands of farm-grown pumpkins with lots of variety and exotics as well as a petting farm, pony rides and hayrides. Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch is a family owned and operated farm since 1985 that is well known for their annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch.  Goebbert’s offers many fall themed attractions for kids and families including a Haunted House, Kiddie Play Land, Straw Maze, Singing Chickens, Pumpkin Express Train, Giant Pumpkin Slide, Pumpkin Eating Dinosaur, Pumpkin Cannon, Pedal Karts, Carousel, Tire Mountain, Pig Races and Animal Land with a Pig Family, Giraffe Barn, and Feathered Friends Building. Heap’s Giant Pumpkin Farm

Heaps Giant Pumpkin Farm has a 25-acre pumpkin patch full of 90 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash. They specialize in giant pumpkins – their largest pumpkin was grown in 2013, weighing in at 731.5 lbs! Other attractions include a giant interactive corn maze, a bean maze, playground castle, fun barn, and hayrides.

Royal Oak Farm has a new pumpkin field with both U-Pick and prepicked pumpkins. Pull Wagons will be available, but may be in use on busy weekends so we encourage guests to bring their own. The orchard offers apple picking with over 30 varieties of apples and is home to the country’s only apple tree maze. There are also many family fun and entertainment activities including a train, carousel, hayrides, petting zoo and playground. Their bakery sells fresh fudge, hand dipped caramel apples, homemade pies and its famous apple cider donuts and their country kitchen sells home-cooked chicken pot pies and hand breaded chicken tenders.
