The American Airlines Admirals Club lounge was the third and final oneworld first class lounge we visited at Narita International Airport.  Maybe it was just us but we thought this lounge was a bit tricky to find.

The American Admirals Club lounge is located on the 2nd floor of the main building.  Entry is down an escalator from the 3rd floor departure level.

We were quite surprised as soon as we entered- it was much nicer than any Admirals club lounge we’ve been to in the US.

The lounge was very large and very empty.  Many types of seats were available (again, most empty).

The view was pretty nice.

It was easy to find a private and quiet spot to relax.

Plenty of power outlets were available to charge electronic devices.

A helpful sign pointed out the lounge amenities…

Several desktops were available for use.

Food and drinks were self-serve.

The food selection was pretty limited during our visit and not particularly appealing to either of us (hmm, maybe that’s why the lounge was so empty).  Fortunately, we were full from the other lounges.

Overall, we thought the American Airlines Admirals Club at Narita International Airport was a fairly nice lounge with plenty of spots to relax and/or work.  The food selection was limited during our visit so this is probably not the best oneworld lounge at Tokyo Narita if you are hungry.

As mentioned previously, the American Admirals Club was the last of three oneworld first class lounges we toured at the main building of Tokyo Narita – the other two lounges included Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge and Japan Airlines (JAL) First Class Lounge.  Based on our visits that day, the Japan Airlines First Class Lounge had the best food selection, with Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge coming in second.  Although lacking food options, the American Airlines Admirals Club was our winner for privacy, space and a quiet environment with Cathay Pacific lounge again coming in second.
