Chicago O’Hare is one of my home airports so this story was interesting to me when I heard it on the news yesterday.

Yesterday, Chicago officials unveiled proposed designs for a massive expansion of O’Hare International Airport from five (5) architecture firms.  The plans are to build a new global terminal to open in 2028 which will replace Terminal 2.

Three-dimensional models of the proposed plans are displayed at the Chicago Architecture Center, 111 E. Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois and at O’Hare’s Terminal 2 through the end of the month.

The public can vote online for their favorite design through January 23 at https://voteord21.flychicago.com/vote/pages/default.aspx.
