If you are a beginner to points and miles, one of the best values in points are IHG Rewards Club PointBreaks. This is a list of IHG hotels that can be booked at only 5,000 IHG Rewards points a night (normally you would need more points to book these hotels).

Every few months a new list of IHG Point Breaks hotels is published.  IHG has released a preview of their new IHG PointsBreaks list.  Right now, the list is just a preview – the hotels can be booked on this page starting later today, Monday, April 24, 2017 for stays through July 31, 2017.   The list usually goes live before noon Eastern time.

If you are interested in a hotel on this list, it is best to book as early as possible as soon as the PointBreaks list is live as the more desirable hotels are booked quickly. Each member may only book two PointBreaks Reward Nights reservations per hotel.

Although IHG Point Breaks are a great value at only 5,000 points a night, the hotels are not always located in the most popular locations. I think it is always worth taking a look at the list in case any of the hotels are ones that you would be interested in.

Here is the preview of the new IHG PointBreaks list organized by continents and countries which I have also copied below.
